It’s always a good idea to stock up on basics. Basics to me are solid-colored layering pieces that you can essentially wear with everything. This is how I feel about my TKEQ tops. Their basics are perfect under a sweater, vest, or jacket, but also look incredible alone tucked into breeches. I think I get the most compliments on my Chloe High Color Technical Top. It is so smoothing and the mock neck looks so chic. The mesh triangle accents near the collarbones really elevate this basic and make it a feature piece all on its own without being too obvious. The crew neck Kennedy tops are one of my favorite lulu dupes – with the same type of quality but not such a long torso as the high-end brand tends to have, making it really awkward and bunchy to tuck into breeches sometimes. I love the Kennedys- I wear the white and the grey camo ones all. the. time. Finally- talk about the most classic riding top basic… the Quinn competition tops in white and in graphite have the smoothest lines of any 1/4 zip riding top I’ve tried on! The 1/4 zip is almost seamless looking, and the fabric is so slimming.

Last but certainly not least, a girl can never have enough sweaters. These TKEQ sweaters are total staples in both my riding wardrobe but also my everyday life. The versatility makes them a no-brainer. The ones I wear the most are the KNIT High Low Sweater in Sugar– the ever so slight pinky cream- the KNIT Sweater in Black, and the TKEQ Essential Crew Neck Sweater in black. The essential is thin and a great option for transitional months or early morning riding when it’s still a bit chilly.

Quite possibly my favorite new piece by TKEQ is a more elaborate basic: The Hampton Sweater in Ash. Man, this sweater is so pretty. If I designed a sweater, I think it would look very similar to this one! The color combinations are really cool and make it very easy to match it, dubbing it a basic in my book!

Make sure to shop my favorite pieces to stock up on basics while TKEQ has them in stock! Use code BETHANY for 10% off your order!!
