Despite the title, this outfit makes me very happy! Both the top and breeches are made by R.J. Classics and these colors are fantastic! I love the pale blue with darker blue dots paired with this vibrant navy pair of breeches.
I love pairing navy and light blue together, but I have found that there isn’t much that this pair of breeches doesn’t match with! I’ve worn it with black, white, gray, pink, green, and this light blue. This pair of R.J.’s is a really nice mid rise front zip which is super flattering. I’m also a huge fan of the tan vintage knee patches. My favorite part of these breeches? They are at a very comfortable price point while keeping the quality of the breeches intact! Starting at just over $150, they have quality look and feel while still being cheaper than most of R.J.’s competitors.
This shirt is a serious favorite for me. First, it is one of my favorite colors! I am not usually one to wear bright and bold hues, so this is a great color option for me! Then R.J. takes this Princeton practice shirt to the next level by adding the preppy and fun polka dot pattern! It also comes in several colors (I also own it in black… stay tuned for an upcoming blog post). It is light and simple at first glance but the details are amazing; gorgeous blue color with a polka dot lace overlay, complete with white mesh on the inner arms and back and thumb holes.
I give this R.J. Classic look a 10/10! Both the breeches and top are made up of quality materials, flattering lines and sell for a really reasonable price. This is an outfit I wear as an everyday #rootd as well as a warm up day at the horse show! Go check out all that R.J. Classics has to offer!
